6th January Goodbye to Fr David Smith

St. Matthew's Church recently said goodbye to Fr. David Smith, who has been working in the parish as a non stipendiary curate since September 2005 and who is going to continue his ministry in the parish of Wem. During his time at St. Matthew's, Fr. David has become very much a part of the church family and a valuable member of its ministry team. He has taken a great interest in the choir and the wider musical life of the parish. He will be missed by all at St. Matthew's, and our love, prayers and thanks go with him as he moves on.
