Lent
The Lent Study
Group will commence on Wednesday 24 February after the Eucharist Service. We will be following the York Course entitled
‘When I survey – Christ’s Cross and Ours.’
Each unit is separate and people are welcome to attend any or all of the
5 sessions.

Maundy Thursday
Bob
Skinner will be taking a mini-bus to Lichfield Cathedral on Maundy Thursday for
the Service of the Blessing of the Oils.
There are 15 places available on the bus and the cost of the return
journey will be £3.00. The bus will
leave Church at 9.00am and return at approximately 3.30pm. Please let Bob know if you wish to go.

Licensing of Reverend Paula Smith
We are pleased
to announce that Reverend Paula Smith will be licensed as Priest in Charge of
St Matthew’s, Donnington Wood on Monday 1 March 2010 at 7.30pm. The Service will be followed by refreshments
in the Life-long Learning Centre.
Reverends
Paula and Andy are now living in the vicarage.
Please continue to hold them in your prayers as they prepare to start
work.
